Is there a minimum amount of items tested?
No, there is no minimum amount of items, however the minimum fee of $100 will apply to all jobs and includes up to 30 items tested
How often do I need to have my items tested?
The main determining factor that will answer this depends on the environment the cable/device is located in, at AP test & tag we recommend the below periods based on AS/NZS 3760:2022;
3 Monthly: Building, construction, demolition and mining
6 monthly: Factories, warehouses, workshops and production areas
Yearly: any environment where the cord can be prone to flexing and movement (e.g.. offices, schools, etc.)
5 yearly: an environment where the cord is not prone to flexing and movement
As required by AS/NZS 3760:2022, any electrical item or applicance that uses a flexible supply cord must be tested to ensure they are in working order
